MacGregor Golf announced that Greg Norman has joined the MacGregor Golf Tour Staff. Norman added a MacGregor MacTec NVG driver to his bag beginning with te Franklin Templeton Shootout. MacGregor will debut the MacTec NVG driver at the end of January 2005. "I have joined MacGregor's Tour Staff because I see something unique in the company -- a culture of innovation that this industry has not seen in some time," Norman said. When Greg Norman first walked the hills overlooking the Tennessee River at Matlock Bend four years ago, the golfing great knew he could build a special golf course on the 1,450-acre property owned by Chattanooga businessman John Thornton. Just as important, Norman knew the location and timing were ideal for building an upscale residential development. When completed, the planned community will have 1,700 homes, marina, wellness center, miles of hiking trails and a recreational center with an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts, public meeting rooms and other amenities. The centerpiece of the community will be an 18-hole golf course designed by Norman.

Greg Norman was selected to design a signature golf course for the new private Cornerstone Club in Colorado on approximately 6,000 acres that features terrain ideal for world-class golf. With aspen forests, rolling meadows, and stunning mountain views, a setting like Cornerstone is difficult to find. "I fell in love with Colorado many years ago and even maintain a ranch here," said Norman after a recent site visit. "To be involved with a development like this is truly a privilege." Cornerstone will be a four-season, private second-home community dedicated to living Colorado style with an ideal location equidistant from the ski town of Telluride, the historic mining town of Ouray, and the growing regional transportation and commercial hub of Montrose.
