Easy Step-by-Step Directions:
- Fill the squirt bottles with water.
- Remove the BACK cap of the washable markers.
(There is a removable back to the markers that will pop off. Sometimes it is hard to remove, so a pair of pliers will help... it is probably best for Mom and Dad to do this part.)
- Remove the ink sticks from each marker and place them inside the squirt bottles (one per bottle).
- Place the lids back on each bottle, make sure they're on tight, then give the bottles a good shake.w
- Let the squirt bottles sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour to allow the marker ink to bleed into the water.
- Once the ink has bled into the water, shake each bottle to distribute the color evenly.
- Bundle up... you'll be outside painting the snow for hours of fun!
Fun Tips:
- Turning the nozzle on the spray bottles will give you various patterns of color — from straight lines all the way to wide mists, much like air brushing.
- If you prefer, you can use a few drops of food coloring instead of the markers to color the water, but keep in mind that the markers are washable so they won't stain any clothing.
